Financial Psychology

Students learn about the psychology aspects of money management. This includes: needs versus wants, lifestyle choices, short and long term goal-setting, and emotional influences in financial decisions. Through this module, students will understand themselves better to achieve their financial goals.

This module focuses on financial habits. Students are exposed to the value of savings as a habit; emergency preparedness; types of savings; differences between savings and investing; and basics of budgeting.

One of the most powerful way to appreciate the value of money is by understanding that one has to work to earn money. This module introduce to students the various aspects of working to earn money, and how to choose future careers. Students will learn about how personal strengths and interest can relate to future career choices, the distinction between jobs and careers, concepts of entreprenuership, and more.

Understanding the facets of financial literacy is one thing, but to truly benefit from it, a child must apply it into their daily life. In this module, students learn to apply all learnt concepts into their daily life through interactive and relevant activities. We even encourage parents to participate in this powerful learning experience!
